Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Marblehead is a quaint seaside town that offers many options for both locals and vacationers. Visit any of our local beaches — Gas House Beach, Devereux Beach or Grace Oliver's Beach, walk around Old Town and browse the local shops, or visit one of our many restaurants, such as The Landing, Sea Salt, Maddie's Sail Loft or The Beacon and enjoy some time with family and friends. If you take a quick drive over to Marblehead Neck — "The Neck", as it's commonly known — you can spend the day at the Chandler Hovey Park enjoying the lighthouse and all of the boats sailing in and out of the harbor. Or, head over to Castle Rock and watch the waves crash against the rocks. You will never get bored touring the lovely sights of Marblehead! And, if you are lucky enough to visit us during the month of July, you are in for a treat! The Festival of the Arts hosts a wonderful array of music, art and celebration (not to mention fireworks) to celebrate the birth of this great nation. It's a series of fun-filled days that you will be sure to enjoy! And, if you are visiting during the month of October, you have to venture over to Salem to take in Haunted Happenings! It's a must if you are in the area at that time of year.

Amy was a wonderful host - she was so responsive to any questions that I had, she offered great recommendations for the area, and check in. The cottage is beautiful and really so nice for relaxing. It is situated in the most beautiful neighborhood 1 block up from the water and a short 2 block walk from town with great boutiques and restaurants. This cottage is a gem and Amy is a wonderful host! Parking can be a little confusing to find as you access it from around the block but Amy is great at giving detailed instructions to find where to go. I would highly recommend staying here!

I am usually ready to get home after a vacation - ready for comfort and the natural beauty that surrounds us where we live in VT. Not so this time. Same with my four year old, who is already asking when can we go back. This is an incredible place to stay. Actually incredible is an understatement. The location is beyond words. The history and beauty of the area is truly unparalleled. And Amy is a phenomenal host. I don't think I ever want to stay anywhere else on Air BnB unless it's managed by Amy. Thank you, we will be back - if my son has his way, tomorrow!! THANK YOU!
